CHAD FINNEY

PASTOR

Pastor Chad is excited about teaching God’s Word to all generations.  Chad began his relationship with Jesus at the age of 14 at summer camp and continues to grow as a follower of Jesus.  Chad has been married to Heidi since 1998 and they have 7 sons.  Chad enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, playing music, and working outside.  Philippians 3:7-11 is his life passage.

Philippians 3:7-11 (NIV)
7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.  8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. 10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

He has a BA in Religion with a Christian Ministries Concentration from Olivet Nazarene University and was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in 2003.  He began his ministry as a youth and worship pastor in Piqua, Ohio, then in Portland, Indiana, and pastored the Church of the Nazarene in Ossian, Indiana before moving in 2009 to Bristol.
